First time going here. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. It is a great place for Italian food.
My wife and I joined two friends here. We arrived at 6:15 (they open at 6) and were the first customers of the evening. We chose to sit inside to enjoy the air-conditioned dining room. To start, we shared two orders of bruschetta - one with pesto and the other with gorgonzola cheese and honey which was absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, I had rigatoni with slow-cooked pork rib in a light tomato sauce, my wife had ravioli with Bolognese sauce, and our dining partners also enjoyed pasta dishes. The food was outstanding - easily the best Italian I’ve had. We paired our meal with a few bottles of Chianti, and for dessert, we had carajillos. The service was excellent – attentive without being intrusive. The owner/chef even stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our liking. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. 5/5 stars for excellent service and delicious food
4.7??? That must be a mistake!! This place is incredible. So delicious and professional. We had the meat stuffed spinach ravioli with gorgonzola sauce all handmade and the famous meat lasagna which both were bursting with flavor!! We loved the hand grind cheese and the spicy salsa as well. Professional staff were friendly and the owner chef came to explain us everything and checked if everything was okay. She told us her exquisite recipe is from the 1600s so you MUST try it!!!! I will definitely come back if I visit Merida again. I absolutely loved it :)!!
O.M.G. exceptional! Lasagna that melts on the tongue with off the block grated fresh parmesan with the perfect amount of sauce. The chicken with spinach and tomatoes was perfectly cooked and juice with fresh mashed potatoes and house bread. This will be one of our go to places in the hood!! No menu online is intentional as the Italian owner changes it up pretty often he says! Lol

This is an authentic Italian restaurant in Merida. Many of the pastas are handmade, and you can absolutely taste it. The owner is a wonderful Italian woman, and for her, this is clearly a labor of love. I highly recommend this restaurant!
